Thursdays With Tombow: ABC Week!!

You know I love layouts, so I'm pretty sure that you are not surprised to see another layout for ABC Week.

This flower is a Tim Holtz Die and the circle in the center
is a one inch circle punch and the brad is from
My Mind's Eye like all the patterned paper and
 stickers on the layout.

The pennant is wood that I covered with paper and
I dressed up with trim tape and chipboard stickers.
I wanted to give the illusion of a wall hanging and
that is why I used the twine and the brad.

I did most of the doodling in the layout with

The title is from American Crafts and
I traced the letters to make them stand out.

I hid the tag behind a photo and I added some
My Mind's Eye Twine to the tag.

I hope you enjoyed the layout!!

Joy's Life Chairished Friend Card

This week at the Joy's Life Design Team Blog
we are making projects that move!!
I was inspired by a card that DT Friend Julie made last week.
I made a Pop-Up Slider Card using THIS tutorial.

For this whole card I used the
Cricut Imagine Best Friends Cartridge.

When you pull the tag the chair pops
and it reveals the sentiment.
I used the whole chair image/cut for the card base and
I used the chair layer to make the pop effect.

This sentiment is from the You're So Punny Stamp Set.
You can buy this awesome set and many more HERE.

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

and I also used some Kraft paper with embossing.
This shape is from Once Upon A Princess.

This angel stamp is from the
I colored her with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

This punch out is from a My Mind's Eye Accessory Sheet
and the sentiment, I LOVE this sentiment, is from the Gnomegrown Set . The twine is from Trendy Twine.

Thursdays With Tombow!! My Mind's Eye Week!!

This week we are hopping with My Mind’s Eye and I have to say that they spoiled us rotten!! Getting a box of their products made my day!!  I received products of the
and I was blown away by all the colors and patterns!!
(Click Photo for Larger Image)

Since these photos don’t have much color, my palette was inspired in the third picture and the color of the stamps.  I kept using the woods with the crackled paint and the chevrons. I started by choosing the patterned paper for the big rectangles. I didn't use the same arrangement in both pages because the blue would be too predominant.

In the left the blue goes in front of the gray stripe and the yellow goes behind the gray, in the right page is the opposite. This technique helps to keep a balanced layout so your eye flows through both pages.

I layered all the pieces with black to make them stand out.  For the  photo mats I used the 6×6 pads and I also layered them with black using my Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive .

I outlined some elements to make them stand out, including the photos and the pages.

For the tiny pennants I used scraps and the
Epiphany Crafts Tool and I used the
Mono Multi Liquid Glue to attach them to the page.

For attaching buttons I used Tombow Power Tabs, I learned this trick from Design Team Member Melissa

The pennants connected by the My Mind’s Eye  Twine
are from the Accessory Sheets and I used the
 Tombow Foam Tabs with them.
I also used other punch out from the accessory sheet,
with some stickers, brads and pins.

For the title I used American Crafts Alpha Thickers.

Thanks So Much to My Mind’s Eye!!
Their products work in perfect harmony with Tombow!!
I can’t wait to use both again!!
I hope you liked my double page!!

Joy's Life: Wishing You A Banner Year!!

This week at Joy's Life we are doing cool folds!!
I made Joy Fold card using this TUTORIAL.
For this card I used the Momenta
Isn't this paper bright and gorgeous!!

As always I used Studio G Ink to stamp this sentiment
I made the pennants with the Epiphany Crafts Pennant Tool.

I used the Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers Die to make the flower that prevents the card from opening. But I used a one inch circle and some buttons on the center. I used the Tombow Foam Tabs to pop the flower like it shows on the tutorial.

I love how this card turned out!!
And is way easier than I thought.

I hope this card makes you feel a little joy!!
