Joy's Life: Eye Love This Color Combo!!

This week at Joy's Life we have a fall inspired color combo!!

We had to use brown, orange and green.

I'm still in Summer mode, fall hasn't fully download into my head so I am almost uncapable to come up with fall projects. 

This one is kinda Halloween-y. 

For the shape I used the Sugar and Spice Cartridge 

and I just hid the little half circles and joined the scalloped circles with a small square. 

This cute monster is from the Mini Monsters Cartridge and I made his bow tie with May Arts Ribbon.

All the bling papers are from Momenta, 

Family Outings and One Fine Day Collections.

I used Glossy Accents and Colgate on his teeth. 

(not really Colgate, LOL)

For the sentiment on his flag 

I used Halloween Puns Stamps!!

I stamped the witch on a piece of paper and 

punched a one inch circle out to put on the 

Momenta Bottle Cap then I used Glossy Accents.

Can I point out that I LOVE the little waist on the witch? LOL

The sentiment is from the 

Happy Haunting Ghosts Stamp Set. 

I heat embossed the frame and sentiment!!

Joy's Life: Tail Me About it

This week at Joy's Life we are shaking the leaves!!

I made this shaped card with the 

Live Simply Cricut Lite Cartridge and my Gypsy.

I just took the first layer twice, flipped one of those 

and welded the card.

The little skunk is also from the Live Simply Cartridge. 

On the inside of the frame I took a paper with a scene 

and tried to mimic the leaves on the back by cutting some and placing them on the front.

This sentiment is from the set Barnyard Puns.

I stamped with Studio G Ink.

I used the Kaleidoscope Pyramid Paper Pad and the 

Family Outings Paper Pad for the scene inside the frame.

I hope you didn't think my card stinks, LOL

For my project I made a Smash Book page 

about the day I moved to Virginia.

It was October 12 and I spent two weeks 

after that on a hotel room going crazy.

I took this photo on the playground behind my house. 

The card that says Bon Voyage is actually on a little pocket.

 I took that photo with the window up and I LOVE it because it looks like a watercolor painting.

Thursdays with Tombow: May Arts Week

This week we are teaming up with May Arts and we got to enjoy their amazing ribbon!!

I got a selection of gorgeous chevron ribbon!!

I altered a clear mini album with paper scraps from three collections of Momenta. I made this book in a quirky style filled with inspirational quotes. I made the red twill bow on the cover with the May Arts Ribbons and I also embellished the rings with orange and green ribbon. To glue all the papers I used the Mono Adhesive Dots. To glue the bow I used the Power Tabs.

Behind the die cut frame I used two ribbon tabs and I glued them with the Tombow Power Tabs just like the flower I made with punches in the right. The rest of the papers were glued with Mono Adhesive Dots.

Remember how I told you that I used lots of scraps?? Well I punched some circles and shapes and used a brad in the center to make a flower and I also used the circles to decorate the page. To glue the orange flower on top I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue.

Simply Adorable!!

I missed making layouts!! 

It's been a month since my last one and I was having withdrawals so I pulled out my peachies and started playing. 

I used Recollections Patterned Paper.

The notebook paper stamp, the face and the sentiment 

are from the August Stamp Of the Month Set. 

You have no idea of how many airplanes 

I made to practice for this layout!! 

I made a lot of them!! LOL

I hope they look like paper airplanes.

I also LOVE twine so of course I had to throw some in there.  

 I don't know if you have noticed 

that I LOVE my visual triangles. 

The title is from 3 Birds on Parade. 

This girl is one of my favorite stamps EVER!!

She is the Recess Jump Rope Girl!!

The reason I picked these super muted colors 

is so I could change it through the year. 

Since is for fall I picked brown for the tags on the side.

My friend Myrna taught me how to make this flowers

 more than a year ago and I LOVE them!! 

For the clothespins I used some Washi Tape.
