Here Are The Smashing Facts

I made this Smash Book Page a month ago
and I totally forgot to share it.
Since I like it so much, better late than never.
It was inspired by Project Life which I am not brave enough to do but I admire it so much!!
(Click for larger image)

I  used papers from Family Outings
and One Fine Day Collections from Momenta.
Also the stickers are Clear Layered Stickers
from The Family Outing Collections.

These digis are the
Mystery Detectives Digi Stamp from Angie Delarie.

I colored them with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

I hope you liked this late post!!

Thursdays with Tombow: Think Pink!!

Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in honor of the amazing ladies that have fought this battle and the people surrounding them we have the “Think Pink Week”  I made this shaped card with my Gypsy and the Neapolitan Collection from Recollections I also used lots of pearls to decorate the frame.
I put together the whole card using the Mono Multi Liquid Glue, this glue is the best for paper piecing!! I LOVE paper piecing my Peachy Keen Stamps so I use it a LOT!!! For the sentiment I used the Tombow Foam Tabs!!

I hope you enjoyed this card!!
Be safe and check the girls!!

Halloween Characters Pillow Boxes!!

Less than one week for Halloween!! Doesn't time flies??
Well, where I live is RIDICULOUS the
amount of children that go trick or treating.
Last year I had tons of candy and I still
ran out in less than an hour!!
So this year I am making something a little easier to make.
I used Angie Delarie's new digis Halloween 2012 Characters which you can also get already with colors
in case you want to print it in white cardstock.
I don't have a die or a cartridge for these pillow boxes
so I made mine with a scoreboard and a plate.

In the first one I just used Frankensteinie Monster's head.

Frankensteinie Monster is too adorable!!

This girl is Carving Crazy Witchie.

I have a box with the whole Halloween 2012 Characters Gang

This is the back.

In case you need ideas here is what
I made LAST YEAR
and the YEAR BEFORE.
Well I hope you enjoyed this post!!

Thursdays with Tombow: Midnight in Paris

Today I have for you a Smash book page inspired in the movie Midnight in Paris. I saw it the other day and I loved it!! How cool would it be to go back to the 20′s and hang with amazingly talented people in Paris?! To glue everything in these pages I used the Mono Dots Adhesive which I mostly use for papers and photos. But your would be surprise of the power of this runner!!
I even used the Mono Adhesive Dots for the Momenta metals!! It works amazingly well is you apply enough adhesive!! They come kind of a foam dot but I am avoiding bulk in my Smash Book since my green Smash Book won’t close. The film strip and the tickets are stamps from Tim Holtz.
The paper with the 20′s girls is from Graphic 45 and is  called “Bathing Beauties” and The Paris Journaling Tags are from 7 Gypsies. I stamped on the journaling tag with a Tim Holtz Stamp.
**Spoil Alert** This journaling is about stuff that happens in the movie.
The star of the show!! The Mono Adhesive Dots Permanent!!
I hope you enjoyed this little Midnight Stroll!!

Peachy Keen Stamps: Believe In Magic

Hello Peaches!!
Today I am sharing a Smash Book Page.
I used the page on the right as inspiration
for the blank page in the right.

For the background I used papers from My Mind's Eye.
I glued them together and I doodled the border.
The quote is from Roald Dahl.

I made the cloud with a template I made a few months ago.
The tree is from Home Tweet Home Stamp Set.

For the title I used some Recollections Alphas and Bling.

I used a vellum jar and the
tiny heart punch are from Recollections.
All the papers and alphas are from My Mind's Eye.
I made the trees to mimic the ones in the background paper.
I dressed the gnome girl in Echo Park.
She is from the March Stamp Of The Month Set.
She is one of my absolute favorites images ever!!

I hope you enjoyed this post!!
Take Care!!

Above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it. -Roald Dahl

Tuesday

Joy's Life: Best Witches & BLOG HOP WINNER!!

This week at Joy's Life we are embossing!!
I am a little excited about my project for the treatment
I used in the Once Upon a Time tag in the middle.
That color actually product of lots of misting.
Let me explain, for my color catcher I use a regular recycled box but in the center it has an open space.
I always put a paper in the bottom so I left that one a long time and then I noticed how cool the color was.
So I used it and then I embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder, then I inked it with some Studio G Silver ink which is messy!!

I used the same paper for the accessories of the hat.
I also tried to do the color mix with lace.
I also heat embossed the sentiment from Halloween Puns.

Thursday

Thursdays with Tombow: Daybook Tutorial 26 @ 26

**Warning Photo Heavy Post**
Today I have a Daybook Tutorial for you. Is super easy and fun!! I made this tutorial based on Mimi Dibble's Daybook Tutorial. After you choose your papers you can make the daybook in 10 minutes or even less. You could make very small daybooks or you can make them as big as you want.
Mine is 5 1/4 x 8 1/2 So the page that makes the cover measures 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 and the pages inside should be smaller to avoid them from peeking out of the cover. Have fun with the pages inside. Use die cuts like circles, scalloped circles, frames, doilies, envelopes, etc. I kept the cover simple because I liked the original design of the paper so I didn't embellish the cover too much.  I used a rub on, washi tape, alpha stickers and the number which I glued with the Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive.

Once you have them in the order and position you want hold them with paper clips.

This process is the easy part. Filling it is the hard part.
I chose to do  this daybook on 26 facts about me. I used the 30 Days of Lists journaling prompts and some other journaling prompts as inspiration for the book.  For more information and examples from 30 Days of Lists just use the Hashtags #30daysoflists on Instagram. And speaking of Instagram if you are there you can find me by jenniegarcian, I post lots of sneaks of my projects and other stuff. Check out the #tombow and #tombowusa hashtags too, there you will see awesome projects from crafters and amazing drawings and lettering from artists!!
Okay, enough Insta-Blabbering. This is the book inside, 26 facts about me but in the first page I used a chevron pocket with a library card inside to explain why I made this. I glued the bag with the Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive, I used so much alpha stickers!!

The numbers on the pages are from a Daily Junque Paper.
The metal camera is from Momenta.

If you have any questions about the daybook, the questions, the weirdo answers or anything just ask me!! I would be super happy to answer!!

You think you will give the daybook a try??
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and daybook!!
