Joy's Life: Definitely Good"ish" Santa

This week at Joy's Life we are making Bags and Boxes.
Since you probably shopped your little heart out on Friday you need to start wrapping your presents.
I have a very easy Disco Santa Gift Bag to share.
The bag was made with the Once Upon A Princess Cartridge. All you need is a square of red paper (mini is from Recollections), a stripe of ruched fabric (I used lace that I sew into the paper before gluing the whole thing in the bag) and Black Ribbon. The buckle is from 7 Gypsies.

 The sentiment is from the
new awesome set Oh Christmas Puns.

This is new amazing set!!
In case you haven't seen it!!

I hope you enjoyed the Disco Santa Bag!!
Take Care!!

Cheers to creating gifts from the heart this holiday season!

For my project I made a December Daily. This could be a great gift for a Grandma or a family member that lives far away. This is my first year doing a December Daily!!
In the cover I used a corrugated 12x12 paper from Canvas Corp, Recollections Paper and a Peachy Keen Stamps Elf.

To color the Elf I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens and Clearsnap Smooch. I also added some ART Glitter on his hat. The snowflake has Clearsnap Winter Frost Glitter and twine on the button is from The Twinery. The snowflakes next to the elf are from Hampton Arts

The label is a stamp from Peachy Keen, the flower is from Momenta and the alphas are from Sticko.

This is actually a pocket page, you may understand the Daily better if you watch the video I made.

Here is a small tutorial on this pocket page:

Back to the mini album.
I made the envelope on the right with K & Company paper and the Martha Stewart Scoreboard.

If you wish to see the video to understand some of the pages you can watch it here

I hope you enjoyed my December Daily!!
I can't wait to fill it with memories!!

Thursday

Thursdays with Tombow: Elf Card

Tomorrow we have the Handmade Holidays Blog Hop but to get warmed up for tomorrow I’m showing a Christmas Card!!
I colored the Angie Delarie Elf from the Christmas Characters Digi Stamps with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I used a craft knife to cut the elf out and using the Mono Multi Liquid Glue I glued him to the background. I stamped the Joy’s Life sentiment to my fake Polaroid before gluing it to the blue background with my Mono Adhesive Dots. I used the Mono Adhesive Dots for the rest of the card. For the button I used the Power Tabs.
I hope you are ready for the weekend of Blog Hop!! You better stretch!!
I hope you liked my card!!

This sentiment on the tag is from the Wintery Puns Stamp Set.

I LOVE how this cute elf is holding the checklist!!

You can't see the glitter very well here but I used it on the elf's hat and I colored him with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
The papers is an old pack from Momenta.

Thursdays with Tombow: Smashin Style

This week I’m sharing a Smash Book page with crazy colors and patterns I hope you like it!!
The phrase “You look nice” was already on the Smash Book but I doodled the banner. I made the Polaroids with my Cricut and I embossed them. I cut the images almost as big as the Polaroids and I used the Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive for the borders of the back of the frame to glue the photo to the frame.
To glue all the papers I used the Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive. The papers are from the Doodle Flower Pyramid Paper Pad from Momenta and the stickers are the Free To Be Me Collection.
If you are new to my posts you don’t know that I don’t like poking holes on my Smash Book so I use a Power Tabbehind it. For the super skinny strip of paper I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue.
I hope you enjoyed this fun page!!
Take Care!!
