Thursdays with Tombow: Happy Girl

My name is Jennie and I am addicted to Pinterest!! I just can help it I LOVE the ideas and I follow some awesome people!! Lately I have seen the starburst pattern a lot and I was dying to try it. To put the pattern together in the 10.5″ x 10.5″ white paper I first made my pattern on a scrap piece of paper and then cut the pieces of the Kiss Me collection from Bella Blvd. To glue all these papers I used the  Mono Adhesive Dots.
Happy Girl
I used my sewing machine to sew a white border on the pink frame because the pink was too harsh compared to rest of the layout. To glue the center of the butterflies I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue, I only glue the center so I can give some dimension to the wings. I also used the the Mono Multi Liquid Glue for the flowers I made with a circle punch.

Smoothie Bandit Layout

This is the layout I made for the Tombow USA Blog last week but Blogger was being funny and didn't post it!! But I wanted to share it here because is one of my favorites lately. Is just so fun!! :)

Today I am sharing another another layout and this time I am using the Midway Collection from October Afternoon. I love making everyday life layouts, these little moments are things we want to remember things when your kids are older and yet they still eat your food.
Smoothie Bandit
I made these flowers with a one inch circle punch and the Mono Multi Liquid Glue. I used three flowers in the layout as the points in the visual triangle which is an eye trick to  draw your eye to the center on the triangle and if the triangle is big enough it drives your eyes through the whole layout.

Some people wonder why I sometimes mat lot of my elements with black, specially because I have a little girl. I get it might be a little unusual but when you put so many cool patterns together you can lose the details of those papers and it can look messy. These papers are too cool so I wanted to really show each one perfectly, I also matted the journaling sticker. For matting my papers I use the Mono Adhesive Dots.

When I put the letter stickers they got a little lost in the background so I used a pen to outline them.

Thursdays with Tombow: Everyday Is A Blessing

How cool was CHA this weekend?! I couldn’t go but I loved all the new collections and photos I saw!! If you were at CHA on Monday maybe you were one of the 100 first attendees that got a free Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive which was the glue I used to put most of this layout together.
Everyday
To make the banner I used a tiny circle punch, twine from The Twinery and the Mono Multi Liquid Glue. I distressed the edges of the papers I used for a little more texture.

I made this layout with papers from My Mind’s Eye, most of them from On The Bright Side Collection.

Thursdays with Tombow: She Is Crafty

My Resolution for this year is to make more layouts and to start my year I wanted to share this layout of my daughter crafting.
She Is Crafty
I had to include buttons since my daughter loves to go through my buttons bin. To glue them I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue. To glue the photos and die cuts I used the Tombow Foam Tabs. To glue the Recollections papers on the background I used the Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive.

Those little scissors are Maya Road and I just colored the top with a Tombow Dual Brush Pen and then covered with a Gloss.

For the row of hearts in each side first I used the Mono Removable Adhesive. I used my machine to stitch them all in the middle and then I folded them to give them some dimesion.
