Tombow USA Blog Hop

Hi Welcome to the Tombow USA Design Team Blog Hop!!
You probably came from Melissa's Blog but if you just happened to stumble across my blog you can go HERE to start hopping.
For my project I made a Smash Book which I haven't done in a while but I got very inspired by inspiration boards and wanted to make a live one rather than a digital one.

For gluing everything in this layout I used the Stamp Runner Dot Adhesive.

For  the title I used Thickers and the rest are photos that I find in magazines and catalogs.

The color titles are from paint chips, I know I'm not the only one who loves free things. :)
Of course I use my inspiration for my scrapbook layouts and I am in a very girly mood lately so this makes me think about ruffles on a layout but if I think of the colors it makes think about rainbow effects I can do in my pages.

In the corner I used some washi on a paper clip with a sticker dot on it.

The little gnome girl was colored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
These images make me think about stencils and masks on my layout but I also love the transparency in the blue.

I used washi tape around some areas to decorate.
I hope you enjoyed my project!!

Remember to leave a message in all the blogs for more chances to win this amazing prize!!

Scrapbook Plus: Show and Tell Satuday

Today at Scrapbook Plus Is Show and Tell Saturday!
I picked my favorite project from the ones I made with this month's kit to share with you!!

This Month's Kit is from Webster's Pages Composition and Color. It has gorgeous bright colors and patterns that work for big variety of themes. I used a starburst pattern using both sides of the same paper.

I also experimented with splatters of mist but instead of using it the conventional way I took the cap off and just started splattering around lightly. *Remember to cover your surface!!

I used my Sew Easy with bright pink twine around the layout to reinforce the starburst pattern. The "Right Now" cut is a cut from the Cameo Silhouette.

The cameras on the Polaroid is the washi tape from the Kit.
I cut the arrows stripes from one of the papers from the kit. The heart was made with the Heart 25 Tool from Epiphany Crafts and one of the papers from the kit.

I added gems to the splatter pattern. I used pink and blue gems around the layout.

I made the Polaroids with my Gypsy from Provo Craft and the George and Basic Shapes Cartridge. The paper I used for them is also from the kit. I used a light gray pattern from the kit behind the Snap Happy Cameo cut. I cut one of the cameras from the washi tape to put it on the tiny Polaroid. I did lots of sewing with my sewing machine around the layout.

I hope you liked my layout!!

Thursdays with Tombow: Pretty Pink Card

Spring is almost here and while we wait I have a card with pretty spring colors. For this card I used the Kiss Me Collection from Bella Blvd. To put the card together I used the Mono Adhesive Dots, for the Polaroid I used the Foam Tabs, to glue the button with twine I used Power Tabs and to put the hot air balloon together I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue

I made the top of the hot air balloon with an once inch circle punch, the Mono Multi Liquid Glue and on the center I used a brad. To glue this part I used Power Tabs but to glue the bottom I used Foam Tabs.

Remember to share with us your Spring inspired projects using Tombow Products!!

Thursdays with Tombow: Laundry Girl

I am always on the lookout for inspiration and watching videos on You Tube the other day I found a really awesome video by Paige Evans using paper weaving technique. The best thing about this layout is that it was made with 1/2" paper strips so I used my scraps. Paper Weaving  can be a little intimidating but the is actually pretty easy.

For gluing all the papers, photos and the journaling card I used the Mono Adhesive Dots. I used the Mono Multi Liquid Glue in some of the papers in the corner.

The borders needed something so I used some yellow and green mists and I doodled some arrows. For the little ribbon embellishment I used the Tombow Power Tabs.

To put the flair button on the bottle cap I used Power Tab and to glue the bottle cap to the page I used Foam Tabs.

Where do you find your inspiration?
