Tombow's Sticky U!

Hi Sticky U Fans! Today's lesson on DIY is Eco Friendly! I altered this cigar box to make a pen pal box. In this box I can put all the materials I need to answer my letters and send a few cards! My friend used to get these boxes from the gas station near her house. She had lots in her closet and she gave me a few to alter.

To alter the box I used Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive. I did each side individually rather than wrapping it like a present since the paper is pretty thick and it would keep the box from closing correctly.

Instead of measuring each side and cutting it, I like to glue it directly and cut with a craft knife.

The small space between each panel will be covered by washi tape. The space between the lid and the back (where the hinge is) will have a bigger gap, that way it will open easily.

This is how it looks before the washi. I used paper from May Mind's Eye.

The washi I used is pretty wide that way it can cover two sides. Gluing the paper was piece of cake but the washi was a little tricky!

Then, a little embellishing!

After I used washi on the outside I used more paper on the inside to cover the images on the inside.

Inside the box you can put pens, cards, envelopes, stamp and other things to answer your mail!

I made a pocket with vellum to put stamps inside. Awesome thing about the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive, it's clear so you can't see the glue through the vellum.

Tombow USA Blog Hop with Walnut Hollow!

Hi and Welcome to the Tombow USA Blog Hop with Walnut Hollow! You probably came from the Tombow USA Blog but if you happened to stumble across my blog just go to the Tombow USA Blog to start

Confession: I moved a month ago and I have nothing on my daughter's walls. On my defense, I was on vacation for 2 weeks. I love Walnut Hollow and both of my daughters have signs on their doors with their names using these awesome products! Here is Layla's and here is Ithamar's, if you want to take a peek! I'm making progress and this is just the beginning!

I applied the NEW Tombow Xtreme Adhesive on the very edge of the wooden letter.

Put the paper on top, flip over and use an Exacto Knife to cut the paper. After you are done cutting use a file to get rid of rough edges. *Remember to use a mat to protect your area.

Now, time to embellish!

I used Pretty Little Studio paper for the letters and to make the Epiphany Crafts Epoxy Shapes.

To glue the epoxy shapes to the letters I used the NEW Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive

The circle is an embellishment from Freckled Fawn!

To make this bow I used ribbon from May Arts and the NEW Tombow Xtreme Adhesive. To put the bow on the letter I used Tombow Power Tabs.

 Super Easy DIY Project!

I hope you enjoy this hop!

Pretty Little Studio! Product Feature: Journaling Cards

Today we are featuring Journaling Cards which fit perfectly in 3×4 pockets and Pretty Little Studio also has 4×6 cards! The packages also have some very cute images! If you want to try a different shape you can also check out the garland flags!  I am going back to scrapbook 5 years so be on the lookout for more baby and kid pages!

My daughter was the reason I started scrapbooking and her scrapbook pages are not the best so I decided to use Project Life to start her book from scratch using the Project Life system. Thank God I remember lots of stuff but I better put it down before I forget.

I am crazy about these watercolor effect cards!

I also found cards and little notes people wrote her and I put them inside the glassine bag which I kept open but I decorated a bit!

Pretty Little Studio: Project Life

Happy Wednesday! I’m Jennie and if you do Project Life, chances are you are a little behind too! When I say a little I mean my baby is 1 year old and in these photos she was 2 months. That’s okay I am getting ready for a major catch up!

Right now I am loving the Baby Claire Line which goes great with Neapolitan! Too adorable and girly for me to resist! It’s also really easy because if you have the whole line everything matches so that means, less thinking! Not only I used journaling cards but I also used some 6×6 Paper Pads and they all worked great together!

To glue all the Wood Veneers I used the NEW Tombow Xtreme Adhesive Permanent.

To glue that Wood Veneer Emoticon on the arrow I used a Tombow Power Tab.

Loving these cute Polaroids!
